I have just received Brighton and Hove City Council's "survey" about parking bays and charges, for the Prestonville area.
When will this creeping menace stop? When all of Brighton (most of Hove seems to have been infected already) is patrolled by wardens?
Being so far out of the centre, this is totally unnecessary and will just add further costs to drivers.
Is the council against people in cars or does it want to boost its shares in NCP or the bus companies?
Isn't 14 per cent on council tax enough? Any firm putting prices up by that much would surely go out of business.
I always thought the UK was a country where freedom of choice was paramount.
Many people may now choose to shop - and live - elsewhere.
