The Royal Navy's HMS Puncher docks at Sovereign Harbour every year around Easter.
The fast patrol coastal training vessel was open to the public on Saturday.
Sub-Lieutenant Hannah Byers, who organised the weekend, said: "We had about 500 people on board, which is pretty good considering it's a small ship. All the crew on board enjoyed the day too."
The ship has now been deployed to Honfleur, France, but is expected to return to the south coast within the next few weeks.
