The funeral of policeman's daughter Rae Torbet, who was found dead with knife wounds to her neck, is being held in Eastbourne today.
Family members say the ceremony will be a celebration of the 19-year-old's life. Her mother Zoe Marfleet said her daughter had been "fantastically energetic".
The service will be held at Eastbourne Crematorium in Hide Hollow, Langney, Eastbourne, at 1pm.
Miss Torbet, who was the daughter of Detective Chief Inspector Jim Torbet, head of Eastbourne CID, was discovered at her home in Cantelupe Road, Bexhill, by a colleague from the HSBC bank in Hailsham after she failed to arrive for work on March 27.
Among the mourners at today's service will be colleagues, former school friends and family members.
Miss Torbet's ex-partner, factory worker Dellwyn James, 31, of Chiltern Drive, Hastings, has been charged with her murder. He has been remanded in custody until June 13.
