On behalf of the residents of Wilbury Lodge, I thank The Argus for its reports during their fight against Orange's intention to place telecommunication aerials and dishes on the roof of Wilbury Lodge flats.
The articles by Nigel Freedman as part of The Argus's Put Masts On The Map campaign powerfully reinforced the residents' protests at Orange's reapplication to impose their unsightly and dangerous to health equipment on the Wilbury Lodge roof and helped to convince Brighton and Hove planning officers the Orange application should be rejected.
I should also like to thank photographer Andrew Cloke, who laid full length on the pavement to get the excellent picture of us protesters with our banners.
-Councillor Brian Rowe, Hove
