Residential parking has become farcical thanks to the rash of parking schemes in Brighton and Hove. All the council seems to do is shift problems around.
I have a friend, who lives near BHASVIC, Brighton, who dares not move her car after 4pm due to the recent implementation of residential parking in the Goldsmid area.
People who have to park simply spill over into the next area which does not havea parking scheme, thereby shifting the dilemma. Then the people in the newly-affected area are told they require a scheme and, hey presto, they have to pay to park outside their houses.
People have been forced to act like imbeciles due to ill-considered and ignorant traffic control and a conveniently-deaf council.
