I read with interest the thoughts and comments of psychotherapist Steve Clifford on the saturation coverage of events in the Iraq war (The Argus, April 7).
There are disturbing pictures printed and on the news channels but this is the reality and it illustrates why the decisions to go to war must never be taken lightly.
Never before has a war been covered so closely. With such coverage, more and more people are suffering from depression.
Sadly, there have been journalists and support crews killed while bringing events to our screens. We must remember they are putting themselves in danger.
