Jelly wrestling was one of the more unusual entertainments at a series of fund-raising events over the Easter weekend.
Pub regulars at the Rising Sun in Upper Beeding, near Steyning, took part in a range of activities on Easter Sunday and Monday.
About £10,000 is believed to have been raised for St Barnabas' Hospice in Worthing.
Other attractions during the weekend included live jazz, a quiz, a 24-hour crib game and a 15-mile cycle ride.
People also had the chance to take part in a raffle, an auction, a hobby horse race and a treasure hunt.
Organisers said there had been a tremendous turnout, especially on the Easter Monday.
