Sussex champion Adrian Moore will return to promoted Horsham from Tunbridge Wells in time for their British League premier division campaign next season.
Moore quit Horsham two years ago when they were relegated because he wanted to play at the highest level.
Ritchie Venner has not decided if he will return to Horsham from Darlington.
The team will need both players to survive in the premier division.
Horsham are certain to support plans to play matches over four weekends instead of 14 Sundays and fall in line with the rest of the league.
Ben Parkhurst and David Phillips have won the first division of the Brighton Community League.
They negotiated 21 weeks of intense competition to take the title by the narrowest of margins - half a point.
The community leagues are now into their fourth year and as popular as ever. They cater for all ages from seven to 80 years.
