Rachael Webb, who lives in Rottingdean Coastal ward, complains she has received no election literature during the election campaign for Brighton and Hove City Council.
I cannot speak for other parties' activities but I can assure her the three Labour candidates for the ward, of which I am one, have over the past eight weeks delivered three separate election leaflets, including two by Royal Mail. Indeed, we are the only party to have sent out such an amount of material.
Most have sent none. Rachael refers to the BNP.
Nine candidates - Labour, Lib Dem and Green - have all been active against the BNP; the three Conservatives must give their own excuse.
With regard to the letter from Gavin Kennedy, I can assure him that I, as a Labour candidate, have not been "forced to confess" if I supported military action in Iraq or not.
This election is about who runs Brighton and Hove, not Iraq.
