St Leonards celebrated their first clean sheet of the season in the eastern division after a hard fought draw with mid-table Burnham.
Saints were never unduly troubled at the back and, with sharper finishing in front of goal, could have claimed all three points towards the end.
Dean Thomas, twice, and Jimmy Elford both failed to trouble the visiting keeper as the hosts produced a late rally, even though three of their players were injured.
Saints manager Gary Bowyer, who was instrumental in his side's best moments, was pleased to avoid defeat.
He said: "I'm happy with a point and I'm happy with a clean sheet. We were really comfortable at the back."
