Two men were thrown from a minibus when it rolled down an embankment and overturned on the A23 near Pease Pottage.
The pair were flung from the minibus into a field as it rolled over down a steep embankment at about 1.30am today.
The two were taken to the New Surrey Hospital at Redhill. Their injuries were described as serious but not life-threatening.
Further down the A23, a car smashed into a lamppost and its engine burst into flames at 6.10am today between Bolney and Hickstead.
The female driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Less than two hours later, a car rolled over on a southbound stretch of the A24 between Southwater and West Grinstead at 7.55am.
A passer-by helped the male driver, who was not seriously injured, from his vehicle.
