While driving home the other night at 12.20am, I was appalled to see two policemen on their supposed street-cred mountain bikes - costing £850 each - checking road tax discs.
One was oblivious to traffic on his bike in the middle of the road.
Remembering what the police spokesman said about the costs of the bikes being okay because it helped with the youth culture of today, I fail to see how any youths could see what bikes the police are on at this time of night.
Why do the police keep targeting motorists when Brighton and Hove is so crime ridden, including the estate where I live, Bevendean?
We never see a policeman on foot, on a bike or in cars. The youths do as they wish, including pushing lighted paper through letter boxes.
People really must start complaining about what is really a priority.
