West Sussex rider Keith Reed was a clear winner of the Tooting BC hilly time trial at Holmwood.
Reed (34th Nomads), from Southwater, covered the 37.5-mile course in 1hr.28min.22sec.
East Grinstead's Steve Dennis held off a challenge from Twickenham's Stewart Jardine to finish second in 1hr.29min.40sec.
The East Sussex CA ten-mile time trial at East Hoathly was won by Boyd Johnson (Eastbourne Rovers) in 22min.13sec.
Peacehaven's Clive Oxborrow (VC Etoile) finished second in 22min.58sec. Richard Gillett (Eastbourne Rovers) was third in 22min.59sec.
Eastbourne's Michael Davies and Paul Fox (21st Century Airports) both recorded 23min. to tie for fourth place.
Not only did Eastbourne Rovers win the individual and team awards, Lisa Griffiths won the women's prize in 24min.31sec while 70-year-old Harry Featherstone clocked an amazing 23min.47sec to win the veterans' handicap.
The first junior award also went Eastbourne's way with Daniel Frederick recording 23min.27sec.
The following day's 25-mile event was won by Friston rider James Dear (In Gear) in 56min.25sec.
Worthing's Steve Geran (GS Stella) and Hastings rider Nick Rudkin (VC Bayeux) tied for second place in 57min.23sec.
Griffiths completed the double by winning the women's event in 1hr.5min.40sec. She said: "It was very tough as it was so windy on some sections of the course."
The first meeting at the Hove Park circuit was called off when officials saw smoke and sparks coming from a nearby building. The fire brigade cordoned off part of the circuit for safety reasons.
Hopes of a Sussex win in the Fred Cowley Memorial road race at Loxwood were dashed when Sean Yates was a non-starter.
He was busy managing the CSC team in the Liege-Bastogne-Liege World Cup race.
Storrington rider Mark Jones (GS Stella) had a good road race result when he took third place in sprint finish to the 45-mile Epsom race.
There are good fields for the Hampshire RC ten-mile events at Walberton near Arundel on Saturday (7am) and the Addiscombe CC 25 at Broadbridge Heath on Sunday (6.30am).
