A giant rabbit has been stolen from an animal park.
Thieves broke into Drusillas Park, Alfriston, near Polegate, on Saturday night and made off with the 3ft creature called Tojo.
The British giant rabbit, which weighs about 12lb, was taken from an inside hutch where he was being treated for a foot infection.
Zoo curator Sue Woodgate said: "He was being treated in our hospital hutch, which doesn't have a padlock on because it's not outside.
"We are very worried about him. His feet could swell up to the size of dinner plates and it could kill him."
Tojo is a tan colour and anyone with information should contact Hailsham police on 0845 6070999.
