Arrests outside an Amsterdam-style cafe led to a protest at police headquarters.
Police took three people into custody for suspected drug crimes after attending Buddy's Hydroponics cafe in Brougham Road, East Worthing, near the train station.
Buddy's cafe has been raided by police on previous occasions but the arrests on bank holiday Monday spurred several people to march to the central police station at Centenary House.
Four more people were taken into custody for drug offences.
