Certain events having been listed in the separate Festival Fringe brochure rather than the main Brighton Festival brochure has certainly affected my programme of walking tours.
I have advertised my walks in the festival every year since 1987. When I checked recently on ticket sales, I found bookings for tours are in single figures and some have no bookings at all. This has never happened before.
I have also been asked by many people why so many events are missing from the festival brochure so have explained about there being two brochures in circulation. It seems most people have picked up only one.
In spite of the festival organisers' best efforts, it seems the distribution of fringe brochures has not had the same success as the main brochure.
I am very keen that interested people know as far as Brighton Walks is concerned it is business as usual and my festival programme is online at www.brightonwalks.com
