New computer technology will help doctors treat seriously ill patients at Worthing Hospital's intensive therapy unit.
The £270,000 critical care information system pulls together information about a patient's condition and presents it on a flat computer screen at their bedside.
The technology replaces a range of monitors, digital displays, networked data and printed forms.
It allows doctors and nurses to see a complete picture of each patient's condition at the bedside so prompt, effective treatment can be given.
