MILLIONS of pounds have been raised for the first children's hospice in Sussex, which is set to open in July.
But that is no reason to halt the dedicated fund-raising at the Chestnut Tree Hospice in Dover Lane, near Angmering.
The cost of running the hospice could be anything up to £2 million a year and that figure will rise if services increase.
There is also a case for the Government to set aside cash to support this hospice and others that help desperately ill youngsters.
