Brighton and Hove's cyberspace community celebrated its contribution to the world wide web at its own awards ceremony last night.
The Virtual Festival Web Awards 2003 recognised the creative talents behind the city's best web sites.
More than 120 sites were nominated and more than 1,000 votes cast for awards in each of six categories.
Best web site for nights out was REALBrighton, while Brighton's Black History was named best community site.
The best local arts and music site was West Pier Photos, best business site went to web designers Kerb and the best personal site and weblog to If You Lived Here You Would Be Home By Now.
The awards were sponsored by This Is Brighton & Hove, Brighton and Hove City Council and Sussex Enterprise/Business Link.
