Police want to find a passenger who left the scene of a serious car crash.
Two men were taken to hospital last night after an MG ZR hatchback crashed into a ditch.
The car was travelling towards Haywards Heath at about 9.45pm when it left College Road in Ardingly and flipped on to its roof.
The driver, 19, and at least one other passenger were taken by ambulance to the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath.
Firefighters arriving at the scene discovered one man trapped in the vehicle.
A crew from Crawley fire station was called out to free the man using heavy-duty cutting equipment.
One of the passengers had left the scene before police arrived, a spokesman said today.
An eye-witness said the crash happened when the MG clipped a kerb, causing it to spin out of control.
