Newborn puppies will soon be enrolled in classes at Woodingdean, Brighton, and Henfield to see how bright they are and how they get on with other dogs.
The idea is to produce young dogs which are confident, pleasant and happy animals instead of being aggressive or neurotic.
Now it is up to pupils at the puppy academy to become canine stars or, otherwise, the idea will be considered barking.
