A lifeboat crew was called to rescue a fishing boat off Eastbourne after its engine broke down.
The Bessie Ann, with two people on board, was stranded 200 yards off Langney Point when the inshore lifeboat reached it on Friday.
The boat was towed back to Sovereign Harbour.
The following day the offshore lifeboat crew was called to tow in an open speedboat which had begun drifting towards the shore near Eastbourne bandstand after suffering engine failure.
The lifeboat crew reached the vessel at 7.50pm and pulled the boat, with two adults and two children on board, back to Sovereign Harbour.
