With the weather hotting up, key areas in Brighton and Hove have become a focal point for teenagers.
Which is fair enough - up to a point.
Police have become increasingly concerned about the number of youngsters consuming large amounts of alcohol.
The problem is especially acute in Preston Park where gangs of teenagers, many under age and under the influence, have been causing trouble.
On Friday night, a police van shadowed their movements as they ran backwards and forward across the A23.
While there is nothing wrong with boisterous teenagers having fun, should they be staggering around parks with bottles of alcopops after dark?
That is the question parents must ask themselves.
