The Government's fatuous message about having safer sex is just an open invitation
to our young people that promiscuity is okay, as long
as you wear a condom.
No wonder we have the highest number of unmarried mothers in Europe. The cost
of all this in terms of family breakdown and financial loss hardly bears thinking about.
We now hear sexually-transmitted infection is spreading at an alarming rate. What a surprise and what a scandal.
The message we need to listen to is from God and it's the same as it has always been: No penetrative sex before marriage and lifelong commitment afterwards - "the two shall become one flesh" (Genesis 2) and, later, "one spirit" (Malachi 2).
Unless this is hammered home quickly, the situation will only get worse and the country will be bankrupt.
