A man who tried to scale a 400ft cliff after getting cut off by the tide was rescued by Coastguards.
He became trapped yesterday afternoon at Birling Gap, near Eastbourne, and called for help on his mobile phone.
In desperation, the trapped stroller attempted to climb the chalk cliff face as the sea started lapping at his feet.
Eventually, Coastguard rescue teams arrived to winch him up the cliff.
He was reported to have suffered scratches and bruising.
