A pensioner has died after suffering a suspected heart attack at the wheel of his car before it ploughed into traffic lights in East Sussex.
The 86-year-old crashed his Volkswagen Golf at the junction of Snatts Road, Uckfield, at the junction with the A272.
The victim, from Newick, was taken to the Kent and Sussex Hospital in Tunbridge Wells, where he died later yesterday.
He had not been identified this morning by Sussex police, who operate data protection guidelines.
