Brighton no rules fighter Sol Gilbert has praised the fans who urged him to European Champions Cup success in Chippenham.
Gilbert beat German Patrick Suhl to take the European title last Saturday night and is now hoping to add the British Middleweight title to his achievements in the coming year.
Gilbert said: "There were more than 1,000 people at the show and more than 150 of them came up from Brighton to support me and watch the sport.
"I would like to thank them for their support and it just shows how there is an interest in Ultimate Combat in this city and people are prepared to get behind it."
