Mark Loram will make a late decision on whether to make his comeback tomorrow night.

The Eastbourne No. 1 has been off the track for two months since suffering a double fracture of the left arm but could return to action either against Oxford or on Monday night at Ipswich.

If not, Eagles will use rider replacement rather than go down the guest route again.

Eastbourne boss Jon Cook had provisionally booked Billy Hamill when there was a doubt about Coventry's fixture against Poole going ahead tomorrow because of world championship calls, but the match is now on.

Eastbourne and Oxford are both affected by the semi-final meetings in the 2004 Grand Prix qualifying series which are taking place this weekend in Italy and Poland.

Eagles will track former world champion Sam Ermolenko and Chris Manchester in place of Joonas Kylmakorpi and Peter Ljung, while Oxford use rider replacement for Sebastian Ulamek.

Play-off rivals Oxford and Wolves are in action tonight at Oxford, but one thing is certain: Whatever the outcome of that little set-to, Eastbourne cannot afford to lose for the third successive time on their own track tomorrow night.

Eastbourne: Mark Loram or rider replacement, David Norris, Dean Barker, Adam Shields, Joe Screen, Chris Manchester, Sam Ermolenko.

Oxford: Todd Wiltshire, Travis McGowan, Craig Boyce, rider replacement, Nicki Pedersen, Nils Kristian Iversen, Jan Staechmann.

Tomorrow's start is at 7.30pm.
