I live about five miles from Brighton station and have been disturbed day and night by the noise of the new train sirens.
The noise for people living nearer the station must be intolerable.
South Central says the sirens are a safety measure. Surely the trains, track and signals are the things that should be made safe?
Over-loud train sirens are the last and cheapest resort and must be abandoned.
