Why is it so difficult to recycle in Brighton and Hove? Isn't the city supposed to be a model of all things "right on"?
"Lucky dip" recycling is what we have instead. I live in Hove but not the right part of Hove to get a doorstep collection.
I like to recycle as much as possible but there's not one comprehensive site in the city. It seems such a waste of resources.
Brighton and Hove City Council is obviously more interested in building a costly and health-endangering incinerator in Newhaven than in an environmentally-friendly approach.
Brighton and Hove may be The Place To Be but Newhaven certainly won't be if the council has its way.
