I went with my spouse to The Cinema of Comic Illusions in St Anne's Well Gardens, Hove, which was absolutely superb.

We had seen a brief mention of it in The Argus.

For anyone interested in the history of film-making, not to mention local history, it was an entertaining and educational masterpiece. We would like to commend David Furnham and his co-presenters for a thoroughly entertaining and instructive evening. It was a labour

of love and brought back memories of times past to us oldies and not a few others.
