A man has been charged after a doctor was allegedly threatened with a rifle.
Michael Connor, 34, of Gordon Road, Buxted, has been charged with affray and is being kept in custody ahead of an appearance at Lewes Magistrates Court.
A Sussex Police spokesman said nobody had been hurt in the incident near Uckfield, which led to firearms officers being deployed.
