Drag queen Maisie Trollette was a guest at the sport of kings, a horse racing event, organised to raise money to help pay for the annual Gay Pride.
Pride is one of the biggest free gay festivals in Britain and is held in Brighton, every August.
The event starts with a carnival, which this year has a theme of The Greatest Show On Earth.
Each year, the event culminates in a one-day free music and entertainment show in Preston Park, Brighton.
The carnival costs thousands of pounds to run and throughout the year, the Pride in Brighton and Hove Committee organises fund-raising events.
The Pride festival, which is being held on Saturday August 9, attracts more than 50,000 gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people and their friends, family and supporters.
It raises thousands of pounds for Sussex charities.
Yesterday, drag queen Maisie Trollette was one of the stars at a Pride Day at the Races, which was held at Brighton Racecourse.
There was also a VIP lunch at the race day including cabaret with Maisie.
The race-day raised about £1,776.
