Former Chelsea star Dennis Wise led Milwall to a resounding 3-0 victory at Crawley last night.
Crawley had chances with Ben Judge hitting the crossbar on 12 minutes and trialist Jay Richardson going close just before the half hour mark.
But Milwall, fielding a near full strength side, took the lead in the 43rd minute when Wise rolled a free kick into the path of Paul Ifill, who thundered a 25-yard shot into the top corner.
Wise also set up the second goal for Tim Cahill on 57 minutes and Darren Ward wrapped up victory 18 minutes from time.
Crawley handed a starting debut to former Rushden and Boston centre back Jim Rodwell.
