Young drivers from Lancing and Sompting are being offered the chance to win a test drive in a Ferrari at Goodwood.
To enter, drivers must hold a full driving licence, be insured to drive and have access to a car with current MOT and tax.
Details of the competition can be found on the internet at www.adurdc.gov.uk, where a question is asked. The answer can be found on another page of the site.
The competition is being organised by Adur District Council and West Sussex County Council as part of a campaign to improve the driving and awareness of young motorists.
The test drive will be part of a day-long course, normally costing £90, evaluated by Southampton University.
West Sussex and Adur councillor Robert Dunn said: "People aged 17 to 25 represent only ten per cent of the UK's licence holders but are involved in over 20 per cent of all road traffic accidents.
"Every year more than 1,000 17 to 25-year-olds are killed as a result of a road traffic crash."
The closing date for entries is July 31. Postal entries can be sent to John Rodway at Adur District Council, Civic Centre, Ham road, Shoreham, West Sussex BN43 6PR For more information, call Mr Rodway on 01273 263064 or email john.rodway@adurdc.gov.uk
