Cricketers will bat for cancer patients in a fund-raising match.
Findon Cricket Club is hosting a charity cricket match in aid of St Barnabas Hospice on Sunday.
It will be played in memory of Anne Duffield, who died following a battle against cancer last summer.
She spent time at St Barnabas, in Columbia Drive, West Durrington, Worthing, during her last days.
The opponents will be Sentinel columnist Ian Hart's Spare Parts Invitation XI, which will include personalities from sport and the media.
The match starts at 2pm. Before that Findon junior team will play Felpham juniors at 10am.
Cobsen Davies Roofing is sponsoring the event.
Club president John Spiers said: "I am delighted Findon has been invited to host this event. Anne Duffield valued and contributed to this tradition and a weekend of music, food and cricket organised, enjoyed and played by many of her friends and family will be a fitting celebration of her life.
"The event is also in a good cause. St Barnabas needs no introduction to local people. It has a profile it richly deserves, having assisted and comforted so many through difficult times, including Anne.
"I sincerely hope all those attending and participating over the weekend will enjoy the facilities of the club and contribute generously to the hospice."
Entrance to the match is by lucky programme, costing £3, which gives the chance to win a widescreen television. Barbecue food and a licensed bar are available all day.
