The case against a man who sent explicit letters and a pink thong to glamour model Jordan has been adjourned.
Nigel Chapman, 55, of London Road, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, had been due to be sentenced for pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of Jordan's mother, Amy Price, at her home in Brighton.
On July 2, Brighton Magistrates' Court heard that Chapman used Mrs Price as a vehicle to attempt to make contact with Jordan, real name Katie Price.
Chapman, a former Railtrack manager, admitted the charge against Mrs Price. A similar charge in respect of Jordan was dismissed.
Brighton Magistrates' Court was told Chapman had missed an appointment with the probation service for the completion of a pre-sentence report.
Magistrates adjourned the case to August 20.
