A charity cricket match has raised an estimated £10,000 for cancer patients.
Findon Cricket Club hosted the match in aid of St Barnabas Hospice on Sunday.
It was played in memory of Anne Duffield, 49, who died following a battle against cancer last summer.
She spent time at St Barnabas, in Columbia Drive, West Durrington, Worthing, during her last days.
The club's losing opponents were Sentinel columnist Ian Hart's Spare Parts Invitation XI, which included personalities from the media and sport, including Brighton and Hove Albion players.
Before the main match, Findon junior team took on Felpham juniors. The evening before, a barbecue was held with a live band.
Anne's husband Steve Duffield said: "I'm over the moon at the amount we raised. We were aiming to get £7,500 but we have easily exceeded that.
"St Barnabas is such a fantastic place and the money will mean such a lot to them.
"The staff looked after Anne so well and all our family and friends were in awe of the place and the work they do.
"Anne was so happy there and as a long-standing member of Findon Cricket Club I spoke to the committee and asked them to hold the match in her memory."
The event was sponsored by Cobsen Davies Roofing.
A cheque will be presented to the hospice once all the money has been collected.
The winning number of the lucky programme was 1363.
