A driver involved in a crash which killed his friend has been found dead at his Mid Sussex home.
Lee Ackland, 37, was found yesterday in his bedroom in Cissbury Road, Burgess Hill.
Mr Ackland, who was unemployed, left four children, including twin girls aged five.
The death came five months after a crash which killed his friend, Paul Greenaway, 40, of Maple Drive, Burgess Hill.
Mr Ackland was driving the Lancia Prisma car when it was involved in a collision with a van on the A273 near Haywards Heath on February 10. He was waiting to see if he would face criminal charges.
Mr Greenaway, who was a passenger in the car, later died of head injuries.
