Police hunting a missing man have found a body at the foot of cliffs.
Coastguard teams from Hastings were called to the beauty spot at Lovers' Seat, Fairlight, Hastings, yesterday and recovered the body of a man.
He was taken to the Conquest Hospital mortuary, in Hastings, where identification is expected to take place over the next few days.
Police were today unable to confirm who the man was but have not ruled out the possibility it could be missing businessman Colin Lines.
Mr Lines, 60, of Silverhill, St Leonards, said to have business troubles, vanished on Friday, triggering an extensive search of the area using police dogs and a helicopter.
Concerns were heightened when his P-registration Ford Mondeo was found abandoned at Fairlight Country Park.
Mr Lines was last seen wearing a dark blue jumper with light blue shirt underneath, black trousers and shoes. He has grey hair.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Hastings Police on 0845 6070999.
