A 12-year-old boy was appearing in court today charged with trying to strangle a ten-year old.
The child, from Seaford, was due before Lewes Crown Court charged with robbery, attempted robbery and burglary.
He is alleged to have tried to rob the younger boy in Seaford on July 2 and to have tried to strangle him when he refused demands for cash.
The accused cannot be identified for legal reasons.
