An inquest is to be opened into the death of a West Sussex man whose body was found in a park early today.
The 35-year-old, said to be from the Worthing area, was reported missing by friends at 10.45pm yesterday.
Police combed the Goring area and the man's body was found in Fernhurst Drive recreation ground at 1.30am.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "We are dealing with a sudden death. There is nothing suspicious and it has been passed to the coroner. A body of a man was found in trees."
He said he was unable to say whether the man had been found hanging.
Worthing coroner's officer Karen Smith said the man had not yet been identified. She added that she expected a post-mortem examination to be carried out on Monday.
