A woman shop assistant was dragged along the ground during one of two robberies within minutes of each other.
The woman, who suffered cuts to her knees, was working in the Thresher off-licence in Queen's Park Road, Brighton, at 10.10pm yesterday when two robbers grabbed cash from the till.
The two offenders were white, 5ft 10in and in their early 20s. One had his right eyebrow partly shaved.
Ten minutes earlier, round the corner in Elm Grove, three men had pushed the male assistant against a wall and stole cash and computer game consoles.
The offenders were 18 to 20 and wore sports jackets zipped up over their faces.
Witnesses or anyone with information should contact Brighton and Hove police on 0845 6070999.
