Property developer Rok Property Solutions yesterday delivered half-year profits in line with expectations, up 94 per cent to a record £3.4 million.
The group, specialising in tailor-made residential and commercial developments, is reinvesting the proceeds in opportunities, such as Eastside Business Park in Newhaven.
It said operating profits more than doubled in the six months to June 30, rising to £4.6 million.
Rok said it integrated acquisitions successfully and delivered results in line with expectations.
Chairman Bob Carlton-Porter said: "The group has made excellent progress".
Rok has four main businesses - development arm Rokeagle, building division Rok Build, property repair and maintenance business Rokforce and components arm Spaceage.
