I was glad to read that the takeway owner who fought back against thugs who tormented his family has won a 12-month battle for justice (The Argus, August 1).
It is heartening that Sui Yau Mok, of Dicksons Fish Bar in Beaconsfield Road, Brighton, received valuable support from various organisations and the customers living nearby.
The involvement of the Anti-Victimisation Unit and Victim Support saved Mrs Mok from depression.
The Chinese Advice and Community Project of Brighton and Hove Citizens Advice Bureau also contributed a lot in this case.
We are glad The Argus takes this case seriously and shows that racial abuse is not acceptable in Brighton.
However, the groups and individuals who helped should also be mentioned to tell the full story and encourage more people to support anti-victimisation.
