A charity shop has scooped a national prize for its window display.
The PDSA shop in Worthing was named as the national winner of PDSA's retail display competition in a prize giving presentation at the charity's headquarters in Shropshire.
Staff at the Montague Street shop designed a display celebrating this year's National Volunteers Week.
A total of 135 PDSA shops took part in the competition.
Tiffany Rhodes, PDSA Worthing stock and sales assistant, said: "We were delighted to win the South Coast area title this year and never thought we would go on to become this year's national winner as well. It is a wonderful achievement.
"This year's competition theme enabled us to show the wide variety of volunteer jobs that can be found in the shop.
"We also demonstrated that it doesn't matter what your age or background is, we can find something to suit you."
A special trophy and high-street store vouchers were awarded at the presentation.
Funke Newman, PDSA Worthing shop volunteer, said: "I love volunteering at the PDSA shop and it was a pleasure to take part in this year's retail display competition.
"PDSA truly appreciates the time we give, which makes volunteering even more enjoyable."
Money raised from goods sold at the shop contributes to the free treatment of pets at PDSA's PetAid hospital in Brighton, where more than 90 animals are seen every working day.
