Brighton duo Jonny Mitchell and David Walker helped secure a bronze medal for Britain at the World Junior Roller Hockey Championships in Edmonton, Canada.
Mitchell captained the side and Walker netted the golden goal which clinched victory in the play-off for third and fourth against Ontario.
Great Britain trailed 3-1 when Mitchell reduced the deficit to spark a comeback and the game finished 4-4 before Brighton Tiger Walker netted in overtime.
Mitchell said: "Our victory is as a huge success because selection for our squad is from only 100 players in contrast to the 100,000 Ontario had available to them.
"I tried to lead by example. The team is ecstatic."
Coach Graham Mitchell said: "I hope the success will help to promote the sport in this country and fund the team's expenses for future tournaments."
Other countries competing included the United States, China, Canada, Singapore, Namibia and Australia.
Sussex players Michael Will, Aaron Taylor and Luke Epaminondas competed for Great Britain under-16s, while Luke Woolgar and Kris Hendy played for the under-18s.
