I visited Brighton for the first time in my life and, while I was really impressed by how clean the city was and how friendly and helpful the shopkeepers in the Lanes were, I was disgusted with the Regent Square underground car park, where I had to pay more than £6 for less than five hours.
This car park is filthy and the toilets are beyond description.
I know these are run by a private company but shouldn't Brighton and Hove City Council make sure standards are maintained? After all, most people expect something for their money.
You have to use their car parks but my advice is go across the road to the beach and use the portable loos.
They are much better.
