Cuckmere Valley League: Alfriston will retain their crown if they can beat Selmeston in their final game this Saturday.
Three teams can still be crowned champions going into the final weekend of the campaign but Alfriston hold the ace card.
Should Alfriston and Blackboys both win, they will finish on level points but Alfriston will take the championship by virtue of beating their rivals twice this year.
If both teams slip up, then East Dean will jump above them providing they overcome Denton at home.
Alfriston put themselves into pole position with a 13-run victory at home to East Dean on Saturday.
Lee Poulton hit 64 not out as the hosts made 189-6. Mike Dixon struck 48 in reply and Jason Woodford 43 but East Dean were dismissed for 176 with Simon Harmer taking 4-29.
Jonathan Eastoe hammered a marvellous 151 not out as Blackboys posted 265-3 at home to relegated Burwash Weald. Andy Meed chipped in with an unbeaten 76 and then Mark Dann took 4-20 as Burwash were bowled out for 113.
Blackboys finish away to Bells Yew Green.
Withyham gave themselves a chance of survival with an impressive win at home to Bells Yew Green. Ian Adams (48) and Ali Curry (45) helped the hosts set 222-8 from their 40 overs. Dominic Green struck 38 in reply but BYG were dismissed for 160.
Richard Gravett (44) and Richard Ellinor (37 not out) helped Firle to 162-6 but Selmeston passed that with only three wickets down thanks to Patrick Hole (68) and Mick Baldwin (49).
