Mid Sussex League: Plumpton are in pole position to win the division one championship following their top-of-the-table victory over Horsted Keynes.
Nick Sheldrick hit 68 not out and Kelvin Speirs 39 as Plumpton made 211-5 against their nearest rivals for the crown.
Hosts Horsted were then dismissed for 171 as Derek Taylor (4-61) and Paul Brinkhurst (3-16) did the damage.
Plumpton have a 22-point lead at the top from Hurstpierpoint, who jumped into second place ahead of Horsted Keynes after beating Crawley Down on Saturday.
Hurst won by 62 runs after posting 178-6 declared then bowling the visitors out with Kenton Green taking 5-24.
Poynings will be in division one next season after clinching promotion and the championship at Copthorne with a six-wicket win in division two.
